Winter Flame Amethyst
Winter Flame Amethyst
Thunder Bay District of Ontario is world-famous for its distinctive, ancient amethyst crystals. Mined ourselves from an undisclosed private mine site in McTavish Township, in the Thunder Bay District, this rare specimen, known as Meteoric Amethyst, Thunder Bay Red Amethyst, Canadian Amethyst, or Auralite 23, is highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
What Makes This Unique
This naturally formed specimen showcases milky quartz points with hematite inclusions atop a rich amethyst base. The opaque quartz, shaped through rapid crystallization, contrasts beautifully with the amethyst, creating a rare and visually stunning formation that highlights unique geological conditions. The amethyst base further enhances the contrast, making this piece an extraordinary find.
Metaphysical Benefits
Classified as Auralite 23 in metaphysical circles, this Winter Flame Amethyst combines amethyst’s calming and spiritual qualities with the energizing and grounding energy of hematite.
