Winter Flame Amethyst
Winter Flame Amethyst
Thunder Bay District of Ontario is world-famous for its distinctive, ancient amethyst crystals. Mined ourselves from an undisclosed private mine site in McTavish Township, this rare specimen, known as Meteoric Amethyst, Thunder Bay Red Amethyst, Canadian Amethyst, or Auralite 23, is highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
What Makes This Unique
This exceptional naturally formed specimen features milky quartz points adorned with hematite inclusions atop a rich amethyst base. The milky quartz, characterized by its opaque white appearance, forms through rapid crystallization, trapping microscopic inclusions that give it a distinctive, cloudy look. This combination is particularly rare, as it requires specific geological conditions for these minerals to coalesce in such a unique formation.
Metaphysical Benefits
In metaphysical practices, this specimen is considered part of the Auralite 23 family, known for its high vibrational energy and role as a universal energy conduit. The milky quartz is believed to promote clarity and focus, while the hematite inclusions are thought to provide grounding and protection. The amethyst base is associated with spiritual awareness and tranquility. Together, these elements are said to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit, making this crystal a powerful tool for meditation and energy work.
